Transportation
When arriving in Brussels Airport, please take a train to Gent-Sint-Pieters at the Airport Train Station. This is located below the terminal (basement level -1). There is one fast direct train from Brussels Airport to Gent-Sint-Pieters per hour. The journey takes about 1 hour. There is also a slower direct train (via Aalst-Alost) that takes 1.5 hours. If you cannot take the direct train, you can also take any train to Brussels Central Station and change there to a train that does go to Gent-Sint-Pieters directly. Train schedules can be found at http://www.belgianrail.be/en
When arriving in Ghent, you can take tram 1 (goes every 6 minutes) or tram 24 (goes every 20 minutes) to the city center. The stop Korenmarkt is closest to the congress center where FPL2017 takes place.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi in front of Gent-Sint-Pieters station (down the slope on the left side when you exist the station). A taxi ride should cost around 15 EUR and takes appr. 15 minutes depending on traffic.
